This Centre had taken up 3 pronged approach for Education and Training Programmes to enhance the quality of technical man power in the region by way of 1) Conducting workshops and seminars from time to time 2) Training of scholars for doctoral work (Ph.D.) & guidance on M.Phil,, MD, M.Sc dissertation work to students of Universities, Medical Colleges, Institutes etc. and training programmes for medical officers and health workers/ para-medicals. 3) Short training & exposure to scientific techniques are given to college, university and school students & medical graduates. Information Education and Communication (IEC) programmes were organized for different groups of population through Swasthya melas and exhibits in various platforms. The Centre has also undertaken training programme for training of State Health Staff on malaria microscopy, filaria control, hemoglobinopathies and diarrhoea.
